Over 100 rounds missed by a BP without being replaced
A top 21 BP, HuobiPool, recently missed over 100 rounds of produced block during the same day.
The fact that a block producer can miss so many rounds without being replaced poses a big risk to the stability of the mainnet. The network may be suddenly halted if several BPs have similar faults at the same time. However we must point out that Block Producers are already discussing measures to avoid this in the future.
Fortunately with the new features of eosio 2.0, Weighted Threshold Multi-Signature Block Production Support, Block.One is already going to improve the security of EOSIO even from this point of view.
