EOS Costa Rica recently announced the release of EOS Rate, a new open-source rating system for Block Producers and proxies on the EOS Mainnet. This way users can choose their favorite block producers to vote in an informed environment.
The rating system is based on collective opinion and can assess whether voting patterns reflect the sentiment. Using these two components, it measures "Liquid EOS Attribute Factores" or LEAF, which will allow users to compare and display the attributes and qualities of Block Producers.
Users can submit a rating through a transaction with their EOS account, making the whole system very transparent and secure. Ratings are stored in the EOS blockchain, to ensure immutability.
