DAPP Network New Bridge, Ethereum Liquidity on EOS?
For September 6 LiquidApps will deploy a bridge to unlock new features with Ethereum. For the first time we could see liquidity flow freely between Ethereum and EOS, and other ecosystems.
Through this new bridge, developers of other ecosystems will be able to use the DAPP Network to connect them to Ethereum liquidity. Indeed, we can expect almost immediately integrations that will link Ethereum liquidity to EOS. Will EOS be able to scale Ethereum liquidity throught the DAPP Network?
To deploy this new bridge, the Cross-Chain Communication Channel (C4), there are two steps that will be undertaken by the DAPP Network community.
- Bridge Activation: DSPs will work together to develop the infrastructure that will allow the transfer of tokens from Ethereum and back.
- Bug Boungty: DSPs will be able to stress-test the bridge and find any bugs. Bug Bounty hunters will also receive awards to improve the code.
