On June 29th the EOS mainnet reached a new milestone with 2773 transactions in a single block, reaching a transaction per second (TPS) of 5546.
The block in question is the number 128557625, which broke a TPS record that has been proclaimed as the most recent ATH equal to 4508 TPS. The latter TPS was reached by block number 129779337 on 6 July, with a total of 2254 transactions. Still, the 29 June block has a higher number of transactions, and holds the highest TPS.
