Dan Larimer recently announced on Twitter that he designed a new approach to the CPU that will significantly reduce CPU costs and make them more stable and predictable. Soon he should release a blog post with all the details about it, and it seems that this solution is easy to understand and provide a sustainable future path for the community.
No hard forks will be needed to implement the solution, and only the consent of 2/3 of the active Block Producers will suffice. Moreover, according to a previous post, Dan and his team (from Block. One?) were also working on a solution to improve the Resource Exchange (REX). As soon as the details will published we'll keep you updated on EOS Go!
